I have yet to make a passing score, so everytime gets harder and harder. I am re-taking a section that I previously made a 74 on (passing is 75). It was the BIGGEST knife to my heart to open that letter, and see those two numbers side by side...it was if I was dreaming. You mean to tell me I gave up 2 whole months of my life, including holidays with family, sporting events, etc all to miss ONE FREAKING QUESTION!!!!! Ugh, I still get teary eyed just thinking about it.
Anywho, enough ranting for now... it has been a real learning experience for me. I have learned that even though it was a difficult time, it is all part of GOD'S plan in my life. I got to thinking about the parable about two farmers.
Pray for Rain
There is a story of two farmers who were praying for rain. One farmer prayed for rain and planted his field, the other prayed for rain and did not plant his field. When the rains came, who was ready to reap the harvest?
The one who planted the field. He is the one with the faith of a mustard seed. He put forth the effort, did the work expecting results.
When we move forward, we trust that God has the big picture and do what is necessary leaving the outcome to God. As we practice and experience the presence of God in our lives, our vision expands and we see more of the whole picture. This makes our life much easier.
Pray for Rain and prepare your fields. Stay focused on the next indicated step and trust that God has a plan and the plan is Good.
Now this is where YOU come in...I need you to pray for rain! I have spent the last 6 weeks preparing my field, and am ready for God to lead me!
Wednesday at 1:00...it is ON!!!
Until then, more coffee and red bull puh-lease!
