Blessed!

My birthday was a week ago.  I had the best time celebrating with friends. 

I woke up to a sick husband, who stayed home from work for the first time in a year! (not a good start, but he never let up, just to make sure I had the perfect day) He let me open my presents first thing! Then said he would "see how he felt for dinner." I had a long weekend before, so I was ALL FOR ordering take out and a movie...but I got home and he said he had reservations somewhere, and he wanted it to be a surprise. I thought we were going to Mermaid, because we keep saying we need to go back, but never make the time to go ALLLLL the way out there. Little did I know, he had planned a surprise at TABLE 100 with our neighbors and one of my bestie's Amanda. I was shocked to walk in to see them there with balloons and all. So sweet!

Then Thursday, my sweet friend Kelly planned a dinner on the square in Canton before our petit four class. The girls got me a signed Peter's pottery bowl! My first reaction was "WHEN DID YOU MEET PETER!!" Kelly said, "This week, but we couldn't invite you because we wanted it to be a surprise!" I totally understood, and that was such a great gift idea!



P.S. Don't you just want to SQUEEZE him!! Precious!

Mrs. Lou was a hoot and had us all cackling by the end of the night. Not to mention she makes the most meltinyourmouth/slapyomama/friggindelicious petit fours EVA!!!! Can't wait to attempt it without her, could be a disaster!
