After the table, Joel started thinking about building a patio for our backyard. He was dying to build a deck, but I really wanted something brick or concrete, so he gave in :)! The first weekend he and my dad worked to build up the frame and bring in dirt. And this past weekend, we had concrete poured and stamped. It has been so neat to watch it all come together. The finished product will be stained concrete, fire pit, and arbor with counter/grill under it. Needless to say, we have a LOOOOONNNNGGG way to go, but it already looks great. Here are tons of pics, showing the progress...sorry there are so many.

The akward circle will be brick pavers with a fire pit.
Can't wait to stain it and start installing the fire pit...more updates to come!
